Hi, I'm Shade
A hairstylist, digital creator, full time medical student and the founder of HairByShades.
OUR STORY
Hair by Shades began as a passion project rooted in my love for hair care and a deep desire to help others achieve their healthiest, most beautiful hair.
As a hairstylist and medical student, I’ve had the unique opportunity to understand both the art and science behind hair health. Working closely with clients has shown me just how transformative a personalized regimen and the right products can be for achieving and maintaining healthy hair.
It became clear that people were seeking not only guidance but also access to effective, quality hair care solutions tailored to their specific needs.
Along this journey, I also discovered a growing community of small, innovative hair care brands. Many of these brands, often local and independent, were creating incredible products designed with genuine care and creativity.
However, despite their quality, they were struggling to reach a wider audience in a crowded marketplace. This is how Hair by Shades (HBS) was born—a platform dedicated to connecting individuals with the support they need to reach their hair goals, while also uplifting these smaller brands by giving them a place to shine.
At HBS, we’re building a community that celebrates both people and products, empowering everyone to thrive in their hair journey.
